A little while back I had added an instagram plugin, I deactivated, I don’t want to delete it, but I am not sure I will use it quite yet. Someone else installed it for me. When I deactivate it, I see the shortcode [instagram-feed] in my footer (on the front end —> see HERE). To use the plugin you are supposed to enter that code in a widget or in a custom area. I checked all the widget areas, the footer areas and have been trying to use the editor and going through the Sparkle theme files to see if they added it there. Are there particular theme files that you could guide me to check? I swear I checked all that even mentioned footer and nothing.

I would appreciate any advice on this…thank you!

Just an update…I went to Appearance > Editor > Sparkle (also Little Sparkle) and think I checked all the php files multiple times, reading through them and also copy and pasting them in a word doc and searching for the words [instagram-feed] …and also did this for the css files there…and I can’t find ANYTHING to remove. Would there be a particular file that might have been uploaded in the File Manager of where I have my wordpress installed? I REALLY want to get that [instagram-feed] removed from my home page. Changing the footer in the interface hides it, but I will have a footer soon added. Could it be a glitch that it’s still there? Any advice on files in the File Manager to check?
