Loading placeholder visible under PNG images

      As you can see here [https://macmagazine.uol.com.br/post/2019/07/15/quinta-versao-beta-do-macos-mojave-10-14-6-e-disponibilizada/], the loading placeholder for featured images (the 3 circles) is visible because we used a transparent PNG image.

      How can we avoid that, please?

      I don’t think you understand, Jacob. It doesn’t matter if the placeholder image is transparent or not, the issue is if we use a transparent featured image. We can see parts of the placeholder image below it.

      That wouldn’t be a good placeholder at all. 😛

      What should happen is, as soon as the main image is loaded, the placeholder should turn invisible.
