Don’t we have multiple layout options for pages, like we do for posts?

Wow, that’s very unexpected for me. 😟

Can you offer at least, let’s say, 3 options in the next update?

This one looks very bad with the featured image we’ve selected, for example: https://macmagazine.uol.com.br/app/

I respect a developers choice on not adding too many options, and this theme has a lot of features already. At some point a publisher has to decide if a theme is right for them or they need something else.

I say this as some of us don’t want a theme that is overly bloated with features and code that only a few may want. Site speed is important for viewers and every line of code diminishes speed.

Come on guys, there are more than 15 layout options for posts. Offering a couple for pages won’t “bloat” the theme…

The layouts are already there, they just need to be “enabled” for pages as well.

There has to be a line somewhere.

I have a opposite point of view. This theme has specific layouts and features I want, but I don’t use at least 80% of the remaining features and will be looking to remove unneeded code once I’m fully dialed in, e.g. woocommerce and bbpress have no purpose for me.

That’s fine, it’s up to you. I want and need a few layout options for pages.

I also won’t use WooCommerce or bbPress integrations, but I’m not complaining they’re there. There are other people that will love it.

Yes, and the theme author is offering custom help if wanted.

I’m saying that a theme, ands this goes for any theme, shouldn’t have extra features and code added that affects everyone based on an individual suggestion and want.

There’s nothing too special or “individual” in this request of mine, it simply doesn’t interest you (I dunno why you came to this topic, in the first place).

I’m sure other users of the theme will appreciate a few layout options for pages.

I’m not allowed to have an opinion on the theme that affects me? You’re getting bent out of shape based on what exactly? The theme developer said they will do the work you ask as custom. Take them up on that service and don’t force your wants on the rest of us.

I’m sure other users of the theme will appreciate a few layout options for pages.

You’re just speculating with no evidence. If enough people request a specific feature then my experience has been a theme developer may add said feature, but I don’t expect a request to be made. Anything beyond general fixes and updates is a gift from the developer, not a requirement.

It’s not up to you to say that. You’ve already made your point that this doesn’t interest you (and only you), that’s more than enough.

Exactly, @Jacob. There’s no need for 15+ layout options for pages, maybe 3 will be fine.

Take our contact page, for example. There’s absolutely no need for such a huge image on top.
