Okay, I’ve been using your theme for my site for months but the support is terrible! Makes me want to go back to the good old Newspaper!
Guys, right now your Newsbeat theme desperately needs two things:
1) Clicking on the social sharing buttons does not open a new publishing window, since the last update of WordPress any attempt to share / publish an article on Facebook, Twitter etc using the built-in social buttons will load a new page on the same tab of the article itself, interrupting the browsing experience. This really upsets the visitors, who will simply get bored waiting and would rather go somewhere else
2) There is no AMP support. I don’t know why you guys included an AMP plugin if the theme breaks when the plugin is activated. Almost all modern themes have AMP built-in by default. After Google’s May update, it seems that this is more important than ever, especially for Google News. Without integrated AMP, your theme is crippled.
So, I”d like to know if I should wait for you people to solve these 2 major problems, or if I”d better go find another theme.
