First off all why does it have a clickable function that takes me back to the article? in a weird loop?

here go to this post http://www.ultrabodymind.com/4-bodyweight-exercises-strengthen-legs/

and click the feature image. That is redundant. Should be just a normal image instead.

that works 🙂 but is there a way to make it same as a regular image embedded in the post?

because I am using a plugin that allows people to share on pinterest once they hover over the image.

And although having it this way is great so that people don’t steal the images it is pretty bad for sharing the article on social media.

Here is a screenshot https://goo.gl/photos/m2kS2FQDFrjdtCW18 notice the pinterest image on top of the images.

what do you mean by that? and is there another alternative and what plugin cant identify images to execute scripts? Everything is working great except the feature images that doesnt even show on bloglovin, or google now results. Every major website that I checked except thenextweb does this.

The same is true for thumbnails like this one

and, you might also like. Why do you guys make it a background image? what is the benefits of doing so?

The reason I dont want it to be background images is that some plugins, especially lazy load are not able to recognize these are images

all these images have the images in the background. Is there a way to take this away?

Unless there is a bigger reason why this is the case.

Well that is a really important reason, But there must be a way to have both, Lazy load and be able to keep the images in the background to improve responsiveness
