    Hi,

    I already have a topic here (http://wpthms.com/support/topic/theme-option-pannel-isnt-working/#post-10062), but since I don’t get answers I decided to create a new one, hopefully you will see it.
    Earlier, you updated my blog yourself with the nightly version. Since then, my whole blog is broken and I had to put it under maintenance ! I had a hard time doing that, because everytime I try to activate or deactivate a plugin, or to empty my cache (for example) on my wordpress panel, I get a full white page and nothing more. So my whole wordpress admin panel is broken too.
    I need your help ASAP, I don’t know what you did on my blog but you have to fix this. Everything was working perfectly fine before your visit !

    Thanks.

    This is what my admin panel currently looks like (when I eventually manage to access it).

    And this is what I get when I try to access a page on my wordpress panel.
    And this is what my blog looks like currently.

    Still no answer…
    I managed to fix my website (took me several hours, though) but I still have a lot of issues with my admin panel. I still have this white page problem and I can only do modifications through the files on my server, or through the style.CSS.
    When I try to make changes, or to deactivate/activate a plugin, it sometimes works, and sometimes not… don’t know why. But still the white page, always.
    It doesn’t seem to be a plugin compatibility problem (I tried and deactivated all my plugins and that didn’t fix anything).
    It definitely comes from the theme though : when I deactivate Elegance, my issues are gone.
    I hope you’ll be able to solve that quickly because there is clearly something wrong with the changes you made to my website yesterday. Probably a bug in the new version ?
    I really didn’t plan on spending a big part of my night trying to fix that (and I had to put my website offline for several hours, which is, as you know, not ideal for traffic and SEO) , and I’m a bit confused as why this topic hasn’t received any answer yet since these problems were created by you in the first place (even though I know you didn’t do that on purpose and were just trying to help, the least you can do is helping me solve it now).
    Any help would be very much appreciated !
    Thanks.

    Hi,

    The issues on my admin panel are indeed solved, no more white page, thanks !
    However, I emptied my cache… and all the changes I did during the night are gone. Hopefully I saved a copy of my CSS so I will be able to put it bach quickly, but why did it happen ?

    I really don’t understand what’s going on… I refresh the page and I get something with the wrong dimensions (on the screenshot). I refresh again… and I get the good dimentions, but with the wrong colours, my custom fonts are gone, etc.
    Any idea what’s happening ?

    Can you fix this once and for all ? If not, is it possible to just return to the previous version of the theme ? I have too many problems with this one, I had to put my blog offline again, which is quite prejudicial to me.
    I didn’t pay 56$ for a broken website that I have too keep under maintenance all the time. And it’s not like I did a mistake myself…
    So I’ve been understanding so far but I’m getting tired of this and I’d like to get my website like it was two days ago : perfectly fine.
    Thank you.

    (Forget about the message I just posted on the second topic, then).

    Well, thanks but there’s a new problem now… I went to my admin panel, and I tried to empty my cache because I couldn’t see any change when I refreshed my website.
    I got a message error from wordpress (see on the screenshot, it means “report failure, please try again”). So I tried to just deactivate and reactivate the plugin… and I got the same message again.

    Okay, so thanks a lot, I tried again and I think it went back to normal (the layout and the wordpress issue) !
    Just a question though : can you show me what you changed in the css regarding the width of the layout ? I made a lot of customization to it and I don’t want to re-do it all again, so I’d like to copy and paste my “old” css file, with of course the right modification regarding the width.

    So you mean using the child theme ? That means I would have a lot of customization to do too (custom fonts, logos, etc).

    Yes please that would be great ! As long as it doesn’t create new issues… 🙂

    Thank you very much, I appreciate the quick reaction !

    Can I now paste my “old” style.css in the new child theme ? As I said I have a lot of customization in it and I’d rather not have to do them all again… Do you think it will create issues ?
    (and regarding the blank page problem, I don’t think it came from the style.css, because yesterday when this happened I tried to put the original style.css, with absolutely no customization from my part in it, and the issue remained).

    A lot of weird things going on on my blog indeed… Well, as long is it works one way or the other…
    Sorry to bother you, I don’t really understand what you mean by “don’t paste the info, just css rule”. Could you explain with a simple example ?

    My admin panel + website are really really slow now, sometimes I can’t even charge the page. Any idea why ? (my internet connexion is good)

    So, I made a few changes, it looks fine (but still really slow though).
    Question : I would like to increase the width of the layout a bit, it is too narrow right now and my content is not displayed entirely. I think the width is currently 1010px. I found what appears to be the right part in the file.css and changed it to 1130px instead :

        body.boxed-layout .inner-wrapper {
            width: 1130px;
            margin: 0 auto;
            background-color: #fff;
        }

        body.boxed-layout .sticky-main-nav-wrapper {
            width: 1130px;
        }

    However, that didn’t change anything to the layout. Of course I cleared the cache and everything, but nothing happens. Maybe I didn’t change the right part of the code ? Or maybe I need to change something else too ? Could you point this out to me please ?
