    Hi There!

I noticed a problem with this Theme Widget before, but that was with your demo data, so I was not sure about the problem.

Now I have set up a new site from scratch (no cache plugin active) with my own data and I noticed the widget is giving me problems.

Setting the time period to THIS WEEK does not work. The widget stays empty.

If the Widget is inside the SUB-SIDEBAR, I have to specify a category, or else nothing is displayed…

Can you look into this problem please?

    Hi Maxxi,

    Thanks for you reply!
I have tried numerous things before asking and nothing worked.
Now I have tried your suggestions. Here are the results:

I think the ‘Categories’ issue in Sub-Sidebar is solved by adding->removing all->saving. Then the widget displays posts from all categories. This is strange behaviour and should work by default. Don’t you think?

However, the time period of THIS WEEK does NOT work at all. A fresh added Widget stays empty, even though I do have posts in the last 6 days!

Maybe there is an error in the retrieval algorithm for ‘This week’.

I hope this issue can be fixed.

    Hi Jacob,

Please be advised that I did not use the demo data, but I started with a fresh theme!

I have tried again and again with the time period of ‘This Week’ but it does not work!
I just made a post, published it, but it does not show up!

I have to specify another time period, before the post becomes visible.

    Cheers!

Yes, I saw you working on the site.

It is weird. As you saw, the other time periods DO work correctly.

    Hi Jacob,

No problem. I will duplicate my site onto a local machine.
    I will keep you posted!

    Cheers!

    Hi There!

I just duplicated my entire site onto my localhost (XAMPP).
Unfortunately, the time period THIS WEEK, is also NOT working on a local installation.

I Tried with fresh and existing widgets, but none display any daty using the ‘This Week’ time period.

    Hi There!

My site went live on Sunday, so I didn’t want any testing done on a production site!
    That’s why I changed/revoked the login credentials.

I don’t have any customizations, other than the coloured/rainbow bar under the main menu.

If you want to test something out, let me know and I will set up a testing site for you.

    Cheers!

No problem. I can’t understand either.
The other time periods work fine!

Meanwhile I choose the option “Last week”.
But it still would be nice if “This week” will be working in the future.

I will keep testing and trying some possibilities too!

    Cheers!

    Hi There!

Guess what just happened after midnight!
Now that we are in the new month of June…

Time period “This week” suddenly worked…
But ONLY for a few hours!!!

    Go figure!
