    Hello,

I have subsidebar “Trending Now” the same like in demo theme. This sidebar is 250px width on homepage and contains ads 250×250 (I insert Google AdSense there). However, when I opnen any post or category, the subsidebar becomes smaller (has smaller width). It is OK, however Google AdSense ads are still 250×250 and it look very bad, because they become too large (while on the homepage they suits perfect).

My question is how to solve this problem by creating for example another sitebar, which will replace Subsidebar on post and category pages, and original subsidebar should be visible only on home page. Please help!

Hi, please note the ad 250×250 SUITS PERFECTLY in “sub sidebar” on homepage. However THE SAME “sub sidebar” becomes smaller on post or category page. My question was how to set for example diferent sidebar instead “sub sidebar” on post and category pages? Thanks.

It is also possible to use responsive google adsense code. It will adapt the width of the ad to the width of the sidebar.
Disadvantage is that you cannot specify the height of the ad. So often it will be something like 250 x 600 or so…
