    Hello,

The “related posts” feature is nice, however, I’d like to customize by adding some stuffs, here is the list:

1.- Showing only one line of thumbnails. So far seems the theme is set to show 2 strings with 6 posts.

2.- Even if there’s a string of related posts, I’d like to show more posts, like 8-9 but in some kind of a carrousel (you know, with 2 small arrows in the sides to scroll to right-left).

3.- To show the post title in the center of the thumbnail with a mouse hover (when you mouse hover it will show the title with a transparence).

Do you think is best to add a plugin for this? and if so, How do I turn off the related posts in my theme? Since I’ve tried to turn it off in THEME OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS > SINGLE POSTS – Related Articles (selected Hide) but the related entries keeps showing in my posts!

Thank you so much for any help you can provide and looking forward to hearing from you.

Oh…yes, I didn’t notice there was also a “related posts section”, so yes, I meant the “you may also like” section 🙂

    sorry for the mistake!

Ok, I’ve found how to “hide” the ‘You may also like’ feature…honestly is kinda tricky hehe (at least it was for me ^^ but yeah, is easy. Just in case someone else check this thread and need to know aswell, here you go:

From the theme options > Blog settings > Single posts > Manage blocks after single post (just drag and drop the section of ‘you might also like’.

    Easy huh? ^^

So I guess I was asking so much to do the tweaks for that section, so I’ll just try with some plugin and see how it goes.

    Thank you-

    Hi Jacob,

Thank you! For now I’ll wait to see if is best to stick with the feature of the theme, or just try another plugin. I’ll let you know if I’ll need the code, or maybe ask to you guys a quote for the custom code because yeah, I was sure it wasn’t something easy to do.

I’ll keep you informed, thank you again for everything~
