    Hi,

    I have 3 questions:

#1: Is there anyway to hide the post date from the dropdown menu? I would just like to show the featured image (thumbnail) and post name in this section.

#2: After updating the theme to the current version, and since you removed the query post option from pages (really wish that had remained), I’ve had to use a plugin shortcode to show posts on the pages. Is there a way/css code/plugin that I can use to query the posts to show on my pages in the exact same format & style that goes with the theme’s template style? I no longer have a consistent look on the site.

#3: I noticed though, that the content that used to be at the top of the page (see: sparkle.demo.wpthms.com/category/life-living) is missing. I’m referring to the category title and the nav links underneath (i.e. Décor / Family / Food / Inspire Style). So now there’s a huge white space in that area. How can I get rid of that white space, or add the category name and links back like they originally were?

Please advise as soon as you’re able.

    Much thanks,
    Crys

    Hi Max,

#1 – that code worked… issue is resolved (thank you!)

#2 – when I used the category page, nothing was showing on my page. It was blank, which is why I had to find a plugin to show the posts on that page.

#3 – I figured out that part of the problem was due to the Adsense plugin I was using. It doubled the space where a leaderboard ad would appear (at the top). I deactivated the plugin so that fixed part of the problem. The other part “Category title and sub categories navigation” ties in w/ #2. I will have to revisit this one a little later on.

    thanks!

They do. I’ll try upgrading it again this weekend and if the problems persist, I’ll reach back out so you can test it live.

    Much thanks!
