I just purchased the theme on 11/16 and it says it is Version: 1.4.5. The images do not appear on the single portfolio page. Not even one image or multiple in a slide show. This is the same problem as shown this post but no fix was given: http://wpthms.com/forums/topic/portfolio-image-upload-issues/.

<p>Also, in your “2.2 Restore Theme Option settings” instructions …… if I use the code from your option-settings.txt file, no images will appear in the site at all (except for the home page slider). But if I keep the backup code that was in that box after importing your xml file, the images do appear on the portfolio page BUT NOT THE SINGLE PORTFOLIO PAGE. I cannot get images to appear on the single portfolio page regardless. I can if I insert them into the post but they display below where the slider is supposed to go, which is a blank space.</p>

Please provide a reply ASAP as I need to know if this theme will work properly. I like your theme design and would prefer to use it but if you cannot help me with this issue, I will need to return it and get a different theme. The issue is occurring with your sample data, not just me trying to add new content. My issue was reported by a different user in at least one other thread but no fix was given.

I did set the permissions to allow everything and still no photos will show. The photos are going onto the server in various sizes but just not showing on single portfolio page. If I add them into the post, they show up down below. But if I try to add them to the slider like your directions show, nothing appears.

I will need to get permission to send login credentials. In the meantime, can you please tell me what folder you are suggesting I change permissions for and to what setting? I did try enabling all permissions on all folders and nothing worked. Any other suggestions?

Tried that. The cache directory inside the theme directory is set to 0777. Most other directories are set to 0755. Unix server.

Thanks, after I posted I edited it but glad you were able to see it. As you can see, I have yet to add any content other than your demo material and one portfolio item – I went straight to the portfolio functionality and ran into this problem right away.
All of the above settings you suggested in option one were already in place. So then I tried your second option. No change. I did try adding a new portfolio item after the change and still nothing. I am a web developer and have created dozens of WordPress sites and have never had this particular issue. Do you have any other thoughts? I will try installing on a different host/server and let you know the outcome.

Hi Manh, Here’s an update. My issues were NOT caused by your theme. And trust me, I am so happy to know that because we really wanted to use it! Now we can.
Here’s what the issue was: There is some issue with GoDaddy’s new cPanel hosting platform that caused this issue and they were unable to determine what it was. This cPanel platform has only been out for two weeks on GoDaddy and clearly has some bugs to work out. All folder permission suggestions you offered still did not work and every other thing I could think of trying so I installed the theme on Siteground hosting and it worked perfectly. So that told me it was GoDaddy. I then had GoDaddy cancel that hosting plan and put me on their older 4GH hosting plan and it works perfect.
I am not knocking GoDaddy, I have had excellent service with them and many, many sites that work perfectly on their hosting. It’s just something with their newest hosting plans and may be isolated to just this theme. Anyway, thank you for responding and I am sorry this took up your time. Now you will know to ask your next person with an issue what hosting platform they are using ;)- PS The shortcode pop-up window works now too!
