    Tried to create a rainbow coloured strips on the header, too. But it breaks the header and the code is visible on frontpage. Added the code to custom-functions.php in childtheme:

    add_action( 'yt_header_end', 'yt_site_color_bars', 99 );
    function yt_site_color_bars(){
    	echo '<div class="site-color-preloader clearfix hidden-xs"><div style="opacity:.45;"></div></div>';
    }
