    I noticed in the demo:
    http://sparkle.demo.yeahthemes.com/

..that there is nothing on top of the hero images, but in my site using the theme out of the box, I get these gradient overlays. Looking at the code, I notice that the demo does not show the “goverlay” class on the “a” tags with the “entry-thumbnail” class, while mine do (for example: “entry-thumbnail goverlay-cerise-yellow”).

A secondary issue is that the fonts on the example overlays are much more legible than mine, so any tips there would a bonus. I was expecting the out of the box theme to look like the demo in terms of styling, so I am a bit under the gun to now make more considerable changes (we picked this theme to shortcut design time on a tight schedule).

I’m new to using wordpress themes and was only looking in the options in the normal wordpress menu. I see there are way more options when i load the theme’s configuration interface, so i assume i’ll get my answer there. sorry for the spam.

Thanks for the reply. Can you point me to where Hero Banner settings are? I feel like perhaps there is an area of options that I have yet to discover.

I have looked in the “Sparkle” options off of my wordpress dashboard, at the path: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=yt-theme-options

..and in the theme customization area (white nav showing my site on the right) at the path: /wp-admin/customize.php?theme=yeahthemes-sparkle

..but I didn’t see a “Hero Banner settings” section in either. Is there a third place I should be looking?

    Thanks
