I want to hide the post view count whole still being able to count the pages. I was using the code Display: none to hide it but I recently realised it stopped working. Is there a way to hide it from view and without using space?

That will come really handy, but what about not displaying the count on the post meta info and still being able to count the posts?

Also I have another couple of questions. How does the code you gave me works? add_filter( ‘yt_simple_post_views_use_ajax’, ‘__return_true’ ); will this code slow the website by a lot?

Is there a way to reset the view count? I uninstalled the plugin but somehow it still saves the counts of every single post which its pretty cool, but won’t this use a lot of memory or something?

Update: I started to feel a little lag on the pages so I checked a couple of speed testers and I found out it does indeed causes a couple of isues,,

    Here are the test done:
    http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/beRxYX/http://www.ultrabodymind.com
    http://www.webpagetest.org/result/151103_P6_XVW/1/details/

you can see the ajax takes around 3 seconds in some cases. I know of another plugin that does this pretty well, https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/top-10/ which does the same that yt post view plugin does but it doesnt cause as much lag. Is there a way to implement some of their code or apis or whatever they use?

Or perhaps only enabling the ajax for a few milliseconds, enough to record the view and then disabling?
