when I have an image post and the feature image enabled it shows both images on the blog page. Is it possible to have only the featured image show? And when you click on it to go to the post it shows there as well?

    Thanks Jacob,

I tried that but even though it worked for the hero static post it made the images disappear for the posts displayed on the rest of the page. If I don’t use the hero image option, is it possible to make the image in the post appear larger and with the blog title and category underneath?

    Thanks Jacob,

I will try that. Alternatively, is there a way of moving the white title and category box down off the featured image (when it is displayed as the hero on the homepage), so that it doesn’t cover part of the image?

    thanks

    Thanks Maxxi,

Where exactly do I paste that downloaded file? Is it menu>edit CSS? I’m a bit confused.

    cheers

    Thanks Jacob,

Thanks for the offer, I would rather learn how to do it myself though.

    1. So do I just upload the .php file that you supplied to wp-content/themes/elegance-childtheme via FTP?

    2. Is the custom CSS field for the other code located within wordpress or is this via FTP also?

    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks for that.

So do I upload the .PHP file you supplied to wp-content/themes/elegance-childtheme via FTP? I don’t need to replace any of the files there? Just add to the others?

    cheers

I did this and it didn’t seem to work. Is there a way I can upload a screenshot of what I am trying to do?
