    Hi,
    How do I disable default css theme of the contact form in Maxx. I am using a contact from plugin that is mixing things up a bit.

    Thanks.

    Thanks Manh. I looked for it everywhere I just can’t find where it’s located. 🙂 Are you able to guide us a bit?

    Thanks Manh. 🙂

    I use http://codecanyon.net/item/quform-wordpress-form-builder/706149?WT.ac=search_thumb&WT.seg_1=search_thumb&WT.z_author=ThemeCatcher and they are pretty neat anyway. I just do a little bit of changes. I use this plugin in for all of my clients’ websites. Following are some of the examples.:

    http://otmtax.com.au/contact-us/
    http://www.australasiatextiles.com.au/reach-us/
    http://pctcomms.com.au/reach-us/

    I often work with themes where there are issues with theme’s default contact form css and manage to comment out the code all together. This helps me a great deal.

    Thanks for your prompt support.

    I know form 7. It has very limited capabilities such as it does not have features such as an online booking form, customization of auto responders and ability to save communication in the backend of the website. It’s a very basic form. We are full service provider. I will talk to Quform authors and see if they can help me with something otherwise I will have to buy some other theme. Until then, the project goes on hold and this is the first time ever where I can’t disable theme’s own form css. I’ve done so much work on site content already.

    What a shame.

    I am pretty sure we can disable your default form somewhere!

    Quform is a very popular, feature rich and well supported plugin. A lot of people use it. With greatest of respects form 7 is crap. As a web designer, if you care about your customers’
    needs, you will not use form 7.

    Thanks to the genius of people behind Quform. Here is the fix. http://support.themecatcher.net/quform-wordpress/troubleshooting/common-problems/extra-spacing-in-the-form
    Unlike some authors, they know their product very well!

    Team at Quform have never let me down – not even once. I don’t remember reaching out to them with a problem that they could not fix.

    I had to comment out:

    remove_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’ );
    add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’ , 99 );
    add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘shortcode_unautop’, 100 );

    Would’ve been nice had this come from YOU. I am a bit disappointed.

    Thanks Manh. I understand where you coming from but what would you’ve done if you were me where you had two weeks to delivery the project or lose the customer and rapport? I can’t wait for you guys to update the theme b’coz I don’t have a time frame how long before you update your theme! You’re just you’re looking into it.

    Hey. Nice of you to hear us out. 🙂 Are we uploading both of them in maxx-wp/functions folder or just the shortcodes one?

    Thanks again.

    Uploaded the shortcodes.php and created a form. It screwed everything else in process. No good!

    YEP, take a look at the attachment and tell me that’s what the “YEP” is all about. That’s not reformation, this is deformation!
