Currently, the block quotes on my website are way too big and take up so much space. I’d like to customize the way they appear, but I can’t find block quotes in the css stylesheet. I would like to utilize one of the styles here: http://www.cssnewbie.com/six-ways-style-blockquotes/#.VcUi4xNVikp

Hi, I tried that first, and it didn’t change anything on the website!

So I just tried again, and the styling worked, but the text is still quite large, it has wide spacing, and the font color is automatically changed to grey. It seems like the custom CSS is competing with the default block quote settings rather than overriding it.

Ideally, I’d like to have that styling of the large first letter, etc. but all in the same default font size, color, and spacing of the rest of the post
