I installed the Sparkle theme and right after I got the 500 Internal Server Error. The site was still running but I couldn’t login into my admin dashboard.
I then changed to a different theme from my Plesk panel and the problem was solved. Tried reactivating the Sparkle theme and the 500 error came back.

I found this other forum post and it looks like I have the exact same issue.

The problem is, I have no idea how to downgrade the PHP version.
I would really appreciate some help.
    Thank you in advance.

So I figured out how to do it in the end. I downgraded to PHP 5.2 and it fixed the problem.
I feel like using an old PHP version isn’t going to be a solution forever though, so you guys might want to consider updating your theme.

    Best,
